Nathaniel Anchors 2023 Newsells Park Stud Roster

Nathaniel | Newsells Park Stud

Nathaniel (Ire), who sired this year's G1 Cazoo Derby winner in Desert Crown (GB), will stand for an unchanged fee of £15,000 at Newsells Park Stud in 2023. The 14-year-old's Quickthorn (GB) captured the G2 Lonsdale Cup, G2 Prix Maurice de Nieuil and G2 Henry II S. this term, alongside Group 3 winners Poptronic (GB) and Zechariah (Ire). Without Parole (GB), a winner of the G1 St James's Palace S. whose first foals were born this year, will stand for £7,000 (£8,000 in 2022). Completing the roster is multiple group winner A'Ali (Ire), who has had his fee reduced slightly to £5,000 (£7,500 in 2022). His first crop arrive in 2023. All fees are payable Oct. 1, special live terms.

Newsells Park Stud's General Manager, Julian Dollar said, “Nathaniel enjoyed another fantastic year, highlighted by Desert Crown's scintillating performance in the Epsom Derby.  Now the sire of three exceptional Classic winners, six Group 1 winners and 59 group/stakes performers, Nathaniel must rank as the pre-eminent son of Galileo (Ire) in the UK behind his illustrious paternal half-brother, Frankel (GB). With the continued success of his progeny, increasing demand for his stock at the sales and his development as a very exciting broodmare sire, Nathaniel offers breeders a remarkable opportunity to breed Classic and group winners at a fee that is a fraction of the price of many of his less proven peers.

“As the fastest son of Frankel at Stud, a Group 1 winner of the St James's Palace S., with a pedigree full of class and speed, Without Parole was always going to be an exciting stallion prospect. A beautiful individual, he seems to be passing on his good looks and we have been delighted with an outstanding crop of foals. With Frankel heading into the stratosphere as one of the world's outstanding sires, Without Parole undoubtedly offers breeders exceptional value.

“A'Ali is a cracking looking horse who had precocious speed to burn. He should do exactly what it says on the tin; produce fast, early sorts in his own mould. We can't wait to see his foals next year and at £5,000, he gives breeders the opportunity to breed a commercial individual at a very affordable fee.”
